Ultimateduner
I saw in a magizine that the new K&N airfilter lid claims to increase power by 2-3 horse power. Anyone have it?? If so does it work, or increase airflow?

sredish
????? 279005 no different than running without the lid, but it just filters a little. it may increase power with proper jetting over running with the lid and snorkle, but it's the same as running without a lid. 00BANSHEE
Check this lid out. On the dyno it had the same HP as without a lid. And it is cheaper then the K&N lid. EHS Racing Lids

EHS Racing Lids 279057 The price says $ 100 for a stock lid with outer wear on it. The k&N is $ 115 and has an actual filter on it. Not too much of a price difference. speed_demon3
i think that u might be able to make your own lid like that. it just looks to me like they used the stock lid and cut it out.
