KRMit
I have the '95 purple/yellow combo. I'm looking to do away with the purple and get black or blue. I think Black will definately look the best but I want it to keep looking good. Does black show scratches worse than other colors?

mat
My banshee is black and white. I ride in all conditions and usually bring it home muddy. The white rear fenders look way worse than the front black ones. Both colors show scratches, but the light colored plastic shows the dirt that is in the scratches. You don't see this in the black. For some reason the factory black plastic does not turn white when it is bent as bad as the blue plastics do. I'm not sure if this will hold true for aftermarket plastics. Toomey Banshee
Mine started out with the exact color combo you have. Painted the plastics and frame. As far as black is concerned it does not get any dirtier than any other colors, does show the scratches more though.
Nighty
Verry cool bike Toomey Banshee! Edit: Ever thought about black rims on her? Edited November 6, 2004 by Nighty
Toomey Banshee
I switched over from the black rims this spring. I really liked the black rims on there but I just think the chrome looks better. I still have the black rims, gonna repaint em and throw some sand tires on em. KRMit
Yeah, I definately like the chrome better. That looks sick! I'm going to go with black. It oughta look mad sexy on my quad. I'll definately be getting race cut fenders too. Me and my buddies were riding some gravel roads today and there was one steep part in the road where we could catch some air hauling ass. Dude on the 450r looked like he was pinned and only was barely getting the rear tires off the ground. So I thought let me try it! I was either 5th or 6th pinned, flew over the hill. As soon as I topped the other side the wind caught my dumbo ears and I was looking at the sky. I landed on one rear tire about 50 feet away. So I made another run making sure to put my weight on the front of the bike and sure enough it still stood up with me, I just didn't jump as far. The parachutes gotta go! Wassup350
Dont matter if shes a dirty blonde or a dirty brunette shes still dirty. Same with shees if it gets dirty it gets dirty. If your going through mud it will show good no matter what color. I think red is probably the best though for not showing up i could be wrong though

If so, what steps are involved? 277038[/snapback]
