THANK GOD!

You can click on the different states and see the voter breakdown by county. You can also see the exit polls (link under the individual state map) which have tons of info about why people voted for who they did.

Makes sense that the people that are for Bush thank God atleast by the numbers.

What I found amazing is Kerry won most of Ohios major cities,Columbus and my hometown of Cleveland.Guess he didn't spend enough time "in the hills"

He did lose Cinnci.but he needed more than that to pull it off.Is it me or do college towns tend to vote democrat?I just noticed Kerrys strongest countys were Franklin,Athens and Cuyahoga.OSU,OU and CSU all reside there.

Oh and also in regards to the electoral college--it was set up because our forefathers thought we weren't intellegent enough to vote. After listening to some peoples reasons against BUSH, and watching some idiots trying to figure out how to fill in a little circle on the ballot yesterday, I am starting to think the fore fathers were right.

Not entirely true... The electoral college was formed to force a two-party system, which eliminates the possibility of "regional" presidents being elected. Namely, in the age before mass communication, it would have been possible for a president to be elected by only catering to the highly populated areas (NY, Boston, Baltimore, etc) while completely ignoring the rural portions of the country.

The electoral colleges eliminate this problem. Besides, we're not a true democracy anyway... We're a Republic.

My girlfriend is in college now, she had to write a memorandum last week in which the professor had the entire class address it to Carrie Edwards.

Also if you read a college newspaper those things are so full of it they make Led

As for the whole electoral college thing, trust me, it is a good thing. If you broke down California by regions the olny areas that are liberal are San Fransicko and the rest of the Bay Area, LA, Sandiego Santa Barbera and similar costal cities, everywhere else, 95% of the states land area, is typically inhabited extremely conservative poeple. Since 80% of the population is in those cities they pretty much shove whatever liberal laws and state policies they want down out throats. I wish the state had its own version of the electoral college because my vote really doesn't count. Almost every time I vote on state propositions I vote "NO" on all of the "lets create another $5 billion dollar bond to fund some dumb shit touchy feely social program thats a wastes alot of money" and the libs in the city vote for that shit every time and pisses me off. Don't ever feel sorry for CA because our states broke, the libs spent the money like a junky on crack.

In regards to the liberal college town and students, wait untill they graduate get a decent job and have to pay taxes. Changed my opinions and party offiliation real quick!
