tithead
without a doubt, the yfz450 is the second best quad in the world! 1st is the banshee!
Wassup350
THe YFZ is just amazing, all you have to do is ride it on a nice twisty motocross track to know what its all about. It launches out of the hole, and corners very nicely and has so much torque that you come out of corners without even downshifting. Then when you jump it the landings are wicked smooth. My friend has one with a lot of suspension work done to it and a stock pipe with air box lid off. Every race so far hes come 3rd or 2nd out of the hole with a stock pipe!!! Except one race he came out and wheelied most of the holeshot. Oh yea and they are awesome to wheelie he can walk that thing for a mile if he had the space. Downside is that it has a weak stator or something like that and it doesnt charge real well so soemtimes the battery dies on it Lucky for him he lives on a big hill, but that wasnt fun trying to pull start him with my jeep last race. Electric start is pretty nice though.
bigboybanshee
They are really nice...I helped my friend finance one this last weekend and it surprised me on just about every aspect. Bone stock those 450's are great machines; if you look around you can find them for pretty good prices. I would get one but I'm holding out to buy the 06 banshee
locogato11283
its a badass quad. right out of the box they can easily take mildly ported banshees. hop them up and they are even faster. they dont have the hit that a banshee does but they make a sweet #2 quad. mines never let me down and its even tumbled down a hill a few times. Wallynut
If your really interested in getting one, the dealers in the Milwaukee area tend to be high priced, not sure about the dealer in Germantown, but there's one in Kenosha that will sometimes deal, and Nielson's down in Ill (Lake Villa I think) are descent to work with, thats where I got my last Banshee.
