5mm stroker...something not right.. please help

I have a 2001 Banshee with considerable mods done to it including a 5mm stroker. The engine was professionally built by white knuckle racing and has been rock solid. My problem is I have absolutely NO bottom end. I know with the banshee I shouldn't expect much Torque but my buddies banshee that is simply piped and jetted is much easier to ride than mine. Once my Shee warms up I really have to work the clutch to stay in the power. I jump on my buddies and one slip of the clutch and the power is right there. Don't get me wrong when we race I blow him away but only in a straight line. I recently had it dyno tuned and was impressed with the numbers....73hp..just NO and I mean NO bottom end. Any suggestions????

One thing I have seen a few times is excessive squish clearance, particularly when the stock head is used with a top spacer plate sandwiched between two head gaskets. This may not be how yours is set up.

I am running the stock carbs but they have been taper bored. Porting was also done by white knuckle at the time of the stroker install. I am still running the stock reeds but he modified them. I am going to add the V-force reeds in the coming weeks in hopes of helping the bottom end out a bit. Any other suggestions??

I am currenlty running the following mods on this machine.

5mm Stroker

Twister Crank

Taper Bored Stock Carbs

Toomey T-5's

Cool Head with 19cc domes

K&N Clamp-Ons

advanced timing

stock gearing

with your mods you should have a decent lowend, double check your timing make sure you didn't retard the timing that would take any from the lowend.I'd also call the builder and make sure he didn't give you a drag port.
