PUSH THE THROTTLE
Oh yea,Pushthethrottle,I hope your confined to doing donuts in your f*cking garage. Why the f*ck would I ride in my garage when I have nearly 1000 acres of private paid for land to ride on of my parents that's why I ride in Iowa? I also have friends with about 500 acres that we ride on. Why don't you do something about your situation and quit bitchin'. The things I mentioned about riding in Iowa don't really affect me dumbass, I was just pointing out the situation. But how would you know you live in Ohio the state you claim has 12.5% unemployment when it's 6.0 in September down from 6.3 in August. Get your facts straight. You don't know anything about your own situation you said Bush wasn't even trying to help you. If I didn't believe that all Americans should be able to vote, I'd say you're not worthy. You finally pissed me off so f*ck off without an asterisk. Edited November 2, 2004 by PUSH THE THROTTLE
Nightrider
Like I said I hold no opinion of anyone based on there political views, even KGL,I was just trying to have some fun with him.I still have respect for everyone and hold no grudges regardless of who they support.I never once told anyone to vote for Kerry.Just because I'm voting for him does't mean I'm going to try to get everyone else too.I just put my opinion out there. My situation is fine,I have a good job a nice house,a nice boat and hundreds of miles of trails to tear up with the Shee. But you on the other hand a a whiney little pissant who's still wet behind the ears.My facts are what I've compiled while LIVING in the state of Ohio, when you spend some time here and see whats going on,maybe I'll take a minute to listen to what you have to say.Obviously something is going on in this state since both candidates have probably made more stops here than anywhere else(I lost count how many times they've been here). Even if Bush is re-elected,I can only hope that another Democratic Governer gets elected in Iowa and takes away your right to ride at all.You said its already bad for atvers over there,Well I hope it gets worse.I'll be enjoying the 140+miles of national forest and the 100 miles of state forests us Ohioans have to ride on.Cry me a river Pushthethrottle and get used to sitting on your banshee in the garage and making Vroom-Vroom sounds. Maybe you failed to read what was presented to you in the original post here. Let me help you out. If Kerry succeeds and eliminates the rights of snowmobilers to ride in national forests do you think you will still get to ride an ATV, which is considered way more detrimental because it doesn Edited November 2, 2004 by PUSH THE THROTTLE
Nightrider
If states follow national trends why do some states allow ATVs to be street legal and some don't.Why do some states have strick sound decibel levels and some don't.Why do some states require off road vehicles to be registered and titled and some don't?If states were required to follow national trends then there would be no need for an individual governer for each state. As you freely admitted in a previous post, the Governer has more power to make decisions regarding his own state and I agree. I can give you a couple good reasons why our national forest will not be affected by the "national" trend you so firmly believe will make every state abide by. Our national forest locations are mainy located in economically depressed regions. Our forest does not have the significance of Parks like Yellowstone.Tourism to the area has a huge impact on there economy. The APV trail systems are seperate from the hiking and Bridle paths(not even within hearing distance).APV permits($25 season) make up about 90% of the funding recieved for the forest sys.,the other 10% are from Bridle paths(horses),moutain bike etc.Not to mention any APV must have a state registration sticker($9) to operate in the national forest and trust me its the first thing they check.Riding on closed trails or service roads will get you a 175 dollar ticket, which they give out like goverment cheese. $$$Revenue my friend, our goverment is in no hurry to give up all of that money they rape us for every year, but you know what, its worth every penny to have the trail systems we have, cause some sates don't have any. I just don't buy the whole Kerry shutting down Ohio trails,as for anywhere else, what do I care,I don't ride there. The point that people are trying to make about Kerry taking away trails just doesn't convince me,I heard all of the same shit when Clinton came in.I can back it up for the reason that Ive heard it all before and nothing has changed..Give me another reason cause this one just doesn't have the power to way my vote. Its not just us in Ohio, PA is the same. I ride Marienville Pa trail every couple weeks. Its 35 for a year or $10 a day and they only care to see the ohio $8 sticker. And they dont care about noise, or anything. Its great. There is no way they would give up the money from the atv's or the snowmobiles. Oh yeah WV is the same too. Hatfield and Mc Coy just keeps getting bigger and I doubt they'll eliminate there only tourist attraction Edited November 2, 2004 by 2004LEBanshee

No, on second thought I'd rather go to California, Texas, Oklahoma, Michigan, Virginia, Namibia, Mexico and a few others first. This is what was posted at the beginning. Kerry, speaking to the Sierra club last week was asked his position on banning snowmobiles from Yellowstone; "When I am elected your next President I will LIMIT and ELIMINATE the use of off-highway vehicles on public lands to stop the damage that they cause." If you don't believe that then why do you believe anything else he says? How's that for a reason? The Sierra club doesn't just stop at the big parks. Iowa charges too. Last year it was $25 for two years registration. This year they claim it was decreased it is now $15 for one year. There are not enough people that ride to change anybody's mind, they are still trying to ban them too. Last numbers I saw registration money is used in a 90% 10% appropriation in Iowa, 90% tree huggers 10% law enforcement for the parks they have. I have never registered any of my ATV's I have no need, the 4 parks in Iowa suck. There are some privately owned parks which require no registration and have no limits plus they have moto X tracks. PUSH THE THROTTLE
Meat, I'm not trying to piss in your cheerios here. As I said before I don't agree with you on this but atleast you have some reasoning. But, since you have friends that sacrifice for the country isn't it a good idea to stand behind them by saying what they are doing is worth something? I have friends that were and are in Iraq, I don't have any that have been killed, but all of them want to go back and think they are doing good. Darn he edited to quick. KGL
I cant speak for meat but I stand by my friends and I think I am standing by them by saying I want them out. I am proud that there doing what there told and I know my friends are doing a dam good job but I dont want my friends dead. I would feel better if Iraq were trying to send tanks over here trying to kill us. If one of my friends die and I dont get to see them ever again I hope you can give me a good reason. The only one that I can think of is they were fighting to save my life and I just dont believe thats true in this case. Better yet you tell there kids daddy died protecting oil reserves o4Le, Your friends are protecting you with their actions in Iraq... you need to see the "big picture" about terrorism. Since the insurgents are going to Iraq instead of here , that tells me that we are safer. Oil is Iraq's future... If you want your friends to come home then you should support anything that will enable their democracy to succeed.... Oh , you meant oil $ for Bush didnt you?.... nice try.
