homey_15 Posted October 31, 2004 Report Share Posted October 31, 2004 i was wondering what kind of hp you could run through a stock axleshaft, i'm putting down about 130 horse, and about 70 ft/lbs. i'm a tight ass so i'm not gonna replace it till it breaks but i thought someone here on the drag forums has a good idea of what they're capable of taking. thanks again. racer Posted November 1, 2004 Report Share Posted November 1, 2004 umm, i dont think you have to worry about these like car axles. but, a bud of mine stripped the splines off of his sprocket carrier with only like 65 HP. so thats what i would look into first, plus they are cheaper.
