3dflyer
I have a stock banshee with original piston/bore that is running fmf fatty gold series pipes and powercore2 silencers. Jetting is 230, and I have a set of 240's to try in the near future. I run pump gas with Amsoil 50:1 oil mixed at 32:1. I still use the stock airbox and filter. Can I gain a noticable boost in low end torque by changing the stock reeds to the fmf torque reeds? They seem to run about $70, and I wonder if that money would be well spent and offer an obvious gain in usable low end grunt. Money is tight right now, so I don't want to begin the upgrade feaver: airbox elimination, K&N's, v-force reeds, boost bottle, rejetting, race fuel, on and on. I am looking for reliable, easy riding, low cost ways to improve the pulling power. 3Dflyer

FIRST BANSHEE
I agree get your head milled, you want to keep your cylinder pressure below 165 psi to still run pump gas. also advance your timing 4 degrees. ricky stator timing plate $35, your local machine shop should be able to mill your head for $25 - $50.you should be able to cut your head .030 and still run pump gas.
