Wassup350
LMFAO WHAT COUNTRY ARE YOU FROM, ???nice english. Get some pipes on er and an air filter and learn how to powershift and race him on the road and you will have a better chance of beating him. If your on dirt try keeping your weight back more off take off and dont immediately gun the throttle or youll just spin too much or wheelie. sredish
I put all my weight in the back and it does't want to stop spiningI have domitator tire should i start on secound gear Man, if you don't have pipes, then forget it. You can start out in 2nd, it will get you downfield faster and help fight tirespin, but without pipes, you don't have the power, unless they're bone stock as well, then it will be close. He'll hook up better than you so it will be close.
Wassup350
Also look into a -2 inch swinger it helps get the power to the ground.
QuadMX
When I was at Silver Lake with some buds, ones got a YFZ450. I had paddles and a shitload of mods he was on everything stock and we were pretty damn close to right next to eachother goin up a dune. I guess I coulda given it a bit more throttle, but it was still pretty close.
fast500#12
i raced one yesterday with an alba pipe and lost by a bike length. when we went back to the start line you could see the reason why he beat me. he only spun his tires for about ten feet on take off as where i spun mine for about 70 ft. he got a good lead but i was catching him fast and if we woud have had about 50 more feet of lake bed i would have blow past him. i tried 2nd gear starts and shifting my weight all over the bike but nothing helped. long runs across the desert and on roads he was like 300 yards back. and he couldn't make it up about half the hill climbs i made. locogato11283
450's are hard to beat with a mildly modded banshee.

recomp
Race down hill. Lower your tire pressure. change your sprockets, smaller tires. You could move the race over to the ground your tires are ment for. That helps out alot. later,...
banshee04le
Race down hill? Soap box derby style? There's a 450 on alky around here thats had major bucks dumped into the motor. He's setup for 300' and jumps off the line pretty good, but not good enough. I get him by a bike length in 300 and by 10+ bike lengths in 600. That was with my stock cylinders. I haven't raced him since I got FASTER . Get you some prowedge2 tires if you want to hook up on dirt. There made by Ohtsu. They spin just enough so you can dump the clutch without wheelieng. They will get you out of the hole quick.
bigboybanshee
450's are hard to beat with a mildly modded banshee. You got that right...I raced my friends this weekend and we were dead even, I couldn't pull on him and he couldn't pull on me...closest race I've ever been in!! Those 450's ain't no joke!
