XxMeltIcexX
Meat Head inspired me to polish some stuff on my engine, so of course, i satrted with the top case At first i thought it would take me like 2 days, but i came up with it in 4 and half hours! Its not like Meat Heads artwork but give it a look!! Heres what i came up with: Before - All dirty, not polished After - Other side, but you get the picture Top - The Top Side, aint it purrty!? Sorry i didn't have the top picture of it before, i totally forgot, i was so excited to get this done. Tell me what you think!? Is it a good start? KJ_S
Looks real good man! How hard is it to do? I have been wanting to do something with my cases but didn't know what. After I seen yours I have made my mind up that I amgoing to polish them. What all does it take to do it except for time?
BigRed350x
nice man! what did you use to polish it? I cleaned my case halfs really nice last time I had it tore apart. I took a 30gal bucket and filled with diesel and put one case half in at a time and shook the hell out of the bucket. It cleaned them up real nice. No fancy polish finish, be there wasn't a speck of oil or grime or anything on them. The other thing I use when I am cleaning parts is an air gun for painting, I just fill the hopper with diesel instead of paint. Works great. You get nice air pressure behind the spray. I wouldn't mind polishing my stuff like yours though.
bigboybanshee
It's a great start but you got a lot of work left if you want them to REALLY shine. Hats off to ya, I wouldn't have the patience to do my cases

Hats off to ya, I wouldn't have the patience to do my cases If my cases ever get taken apart, they're being shipped to DuneDemon for some powdercoat chrome. I wanted to polish mine, but then thought about the up keep. And on cases, that wouldn't be fun.

XxMeltIcexX
Hey, thanks for the input. The more ilook at teh pictures it doenst really shine, but it does when you look at it. But to answer your question BigRed, all i used was steel wool and mothers! Sounds stupid, but if you have tarnish on your case, it takes it right off, put 4 and a hlaf hours on it and it look pretty decent. I will never compare to meats thoe, hes a great artist.
