The blurry vision does take a while to get used to but it kills the earlier GTA3 games where the cars would max out at like.. 55mph or something and it'd be like.. okay this sucks. Now you actually almost *have* to use the brakes occasionally.

I'm still on the second island in San Fierro. The missions are easier thus far on the second island which is cool.

the combine is pretty cool ;) though the fact that you can drive it off a cliff to The Truth's farm during the mission and have it be just fine. The Truth is pretty funny too.. as is the whole concept of the Mothership. For those of you not there yet.. keep pluggin along :)

the races in this one are quite easy though... thus far.

Anybody seen some of the "glitches" yet? The only one I have encountered is a random plane crash. First night I had the game, I went into one of those gay dance club things, and as soon as I come out, I started running down the street. I heard a scraping noise and turned around and there is a bi-plane upside down on fire, sliding down the road. It hit me and drug me until it blew up and killed me. So far thats my coolest experience with the game. :headbang:

What island is that on? I played it for something like 6 hours straight a couple days ago and finally got to the second level, so I'm a little burnt out on it right now.

  • 3 weeks later...

stuck at those damn RC copter missions.... and I gotta get more time underwater to finish the blind oriental's missions..

most favorite saying from the game comes from the talk radio host on rodeo subject,

"why would anyone wanna ride a bull, just go find a fat girl they need some attention" :headbang::headbang:

i don't think they're optional actually.. but maybe are. It gives you the RC Car shop asset when you're done. that mission, without a shadow of a doubt, was the hardest one.

1) don't hold the gas button down -- COAST when you can

2) if you're sitting on the ground, not moving, you don't use gas. Watch the map and use that info wisely -- e.g., be patient -- wait for vehicles to get closer to you if they're far far away. Can be somewhat random also so it might just take a random "good luck" time to beat it.

3) avoid sharp sharp movements

4) fly *over* stuff when possible to "cut" those corners

DAMN YOU BERKELEY!

F U, zero..
