BansheeJerry
Sox all the way. They are on a role and I hope they continue. I would have really loved to see the Astros and the Sox play based solely on history. That would have been awesome. I am going with the Sox though. I hope the curse is off.. Glad to see a thread other than the usual political bullshit on here. What a welcome change. Sign of the times I guess. I love the HQ.... oldturtle
I have been a National League fan all my life, from Willie Mays to Barry Bonds with the SF Giants. However this is the very first time that I have been pulling for an American League team; that is except when the dirty rotten Dodgers were in there. Not sure why because I am big fan of Tony LaRusa and Mark Mcguire before he retired; going back to their days with Oakland. I think my support for Boston is because they have gone so long without a World Series championship and it would be a great thing for their fans. Card's fans have really had things pretty good in comparison to Red Sox fans. I also have always had great admiration for Ted Williams who probably would hold all the records if not for the 4 years he missed due to WW2.
