I was wondering how hard is it to clean out my bottom end. And any info on how to do it would be great. warwgn Posted October 21, 2004 Report Share Posted October 21, 2004 not hard at all, good trick is take piece of cardboard and punch holes in it to match the bolt paterns of the case and put your bolts in it as you take them out, works great on my four strokes with 9 million bolts in them!! locogato11283 Posted October 21, 2004 Report Share Posted October 21, 2004 dont split the cases to get that shit out. use a pressure washer. thats what we did with my bros engine after his pistons fell apart. it worked fine and never locked up after that. rebuilding is easy as long as you have a common knowledge of a few tools and how to take shit apart. keep us posted, we can help you get thru it. svtkid78 Posted October 29, 2004 Report Share Posted October 29, 2004 What do you plan on doing about re-honing, and boring your cylinders, due to the scrapes on the walls frm the scrapnel flying around.
