Justintoxicated, InFlames, and their 250r buddy ended up moving their camp over to ours shortly after the drags. Thats funny about the rangers but not too surprising - you guys just look like trouble. For those that weren't there to see it, Olds was crazy busy Saturday night. Then the police helicopter started cruising around and some dipshits started shooting bottle rockets at it. Funny... but then shortly after the police formed a line of vehicles/officers in riot gear and started clearing out the whole place. So by midnight or around there olds was dead. We were sitting up on the hill watching the scattering - looked like somebody just poured soda on top of an anthill. Chris n' Matt, we went over to wash 4 at around 2pm on Saturday. Cruised all around but couldn't find your camp in that dusty mess. Saw quit a few wrecks (or the aftermath on some cuz I have a bad habit of looking elsewhere and missing the crashes ). There were 2 right in front of us at the drags, both of which the quad kept the riders on as they rolled. Both guys got pulled out by EMT's. There were about 150 CLOSE calls. A 300 lbs vato wearing shorts n' a tshirt rolled a suzuki on China rolling the quad halfway down the hill. Another guy right after flipped his shee halfway up China, luckily it only rolled once and stopped. And finally some guy looped it on the woops at the base of olds on Sat. night. The weekend was full of chopped sand, law enforcement, and ambulances. It was still bad ass to say the least! That was crazy shit watching the sheriffs in riot gear chasing everyone out of olds sat night and watching that from the safety of the top of olds lol. I was gonna go back to your site later on that night and say what's up, but I was hitchin a ride in my buddy's red Toyota lookin for friends at the drags. Plus I didn't want to ride cause I was starting to drink... Next time I really hope to meet everyone that goes!! Rangers gave us a hard time at our campsite as well. Sat. night a bunch of our neighbors decided to shoot off some fireworks. One ranger lady came over and questioned us about everything, then gave us a warning. Funny how it all ends up, we didn't shoot off any fireworks at all yet get the scolding for it. Anyways, did anyone happen to catch that one quad getting runned over by a huge lifted chevy truck at Olds on Saturday afternoon? I saw it, for some reason I guess the driver of the truck didn't see the guy and ran him over!! Glad it wasn't me cause I was near the two at the time it happened. Yamahammer Posted November 2, 2004 Report Share Posted November 2, 2004 we where there missed everyone i guess had a couple machanical tie us up far a couple hours cough cough not on mine but otheres so played around to get them going so made it to all the spots late or not at all .. we where on the road in when all hell broke loose over at olds so we parked on the dunes to the side and watched the mayham.. then got suckered into helping 3 guys in a 150 burrried to the front grill where they ran into a dune spent 1 1/2 hors diging to no avail got them a hummer to pull them out and made 60 bucks not bad... but a great timesorry i missed everyone we need to be more organised for thanks giving Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
