Fireman-hott
If all he got was a concussion than I think they guy did brake some, because there isn't a single person on these boards that could take a tib/fib hit from a shee doing 70+ in a drag without them breaking let alone shattering...and that is a goddamn guarantee. If the strip gets wider I personally feel its just as much all the spectators faults for not compensating the changes properly. And yeah if I'm doing 70mph and some guy is puuting a flag on the track you know how easily a bump or ripple in the dunes + a crash = impalement. The 19y/o needs to learn a little more about chicken. At least the guy had the balls to turn himself in, that to me says a lot about his charactor. Would have been insanely easy to have gotten away. My 2 cents. caleou1
why did he go to the north gate when the south gate is less than a half-mile away and the north gate is on the other side of the park?
KRMit
why did he go to the north gate when the south gate is less than a half-mile away and the north gate is on the other side of the park? Probably needed time to think about it. He was probably in a very freaked out state of mind after what he did. I feel it's more of the kid's fault for messing with the track. I'm sure the racer was probably just trying to scare him and figured the kid would get out of the way.
Fireman-hott
Well to add to my last post. That flag was probably mode of fiberglass or carbon fiber. If he got impaled on that and it snapped do any of you even realize the damage it would do internally? How far the fibers would imbed in him? Any of you that are hunters I'm sure know the rule of thumb as far as what you have to consider "contaminated" if a carbon arrow shatters in a deer. caleou1
After watching this happen I do not realize how anyone can side with the guy on the Banshee. But what do I know, there are only two people who know what went on and what was going through theses guys heads. Fireman-If you do not what to take the chance of impaling a fiber rod in you, don't run it over. That is just my point of view, I am not trying to attack anyone.
