nater006
Do you just splice 'em in there? Thought the coil and wires were just a sealed deal? One of my caps is less than adequate, and looking into this myself too. If the caps and wires are replaceable... dang.. somebody tell me how! racer
caps are easy. they just thread into the wire itself with what look like a drywall screw. buy some new ones and youll see what im talkin about. the wires, im not so sure about them. Minkia38
there will be no difference in performance from stock to a ngk plug cap i have ngks - $2.50 at local dealer - nice n cheap!
BdBanshee
I also have NGK caps, bought them from Rocky Mountain ATV. I have always used NGK B8ES plugs in my Banshee. Buy the plugs at a Auto parts store and save yourself some $$$
boonman
I tried NGK caps, and they were alright, and I used performance unlimited as well. If your slealer breaks out the parts unlimited, turn around, and get the hell out. I currently run NGK caps, and a stock coil. The stock coil is fairly cheap at the stealer. Geting wires out of the stock coil is a bear, and you won't see any performance gains...... Just get a new stock coil, (the wires come pre-attached), grab some plug caps, (and be damned sure they USE the little threeaded caps that come with the plugs.) if they don't use the little threaded caps that come on the spark plugs, they will work loose, and wear out, and cause you major headaches... (Parts unlimited caps are like this) Also, be sure that you get "loaded" caps. They have a resistor built in to minimize interference.....
