snowprophet1
Looking to get something a little "safer" for 1/4 mile runs instead of my 9 year old bald factory tires/rims. I heard of some people getting some front narrow rims w/scooter tires, but I don't know what they are rated for, or if they work just fine for high speed. What is everyone using for front tire/rim setups on asphalt? Thanks!

badcompany
Get some 10x4 rims, and some scooter tires. The scooter tires are pretty cheap, you can get some for $16 a peice up to around $40 a peice.

snowprophet1
Wow that's fast. I wonder if I'd ever see that kind of speed in the 1/4!
Southside Motorsports
you could see that kind of speed in the 1/4 if your bike is set up for the longer run, and you had some decent hp.
