sycoticbanshee00 Posted October 14, 2004 Report Share Posted October 14, 2004 i have fmf fatties they came with the bike. are these any good? my bike is stock and i plan to keep it stock for now later ill port and polish it it has the turbine core 2s silencers which are spark arrestors. should i change to the power core 2s? They might not suit your particular riding style, there are better pipes for top-end power or more bottom-end. Depends on your type of riding. Leave the Turbines on. sredish Posted October 14, 2004 Report Share Posted October 14, 2004 I also run fatties. They have great midrange and good top end as far as I'm concerned. I've seen dyno charts comparing Toomeys and Fatties, and the Toomies wich are known for being a more top end pipe, doesn't really sign off that much higher than the fatties, the peak is a little higher, but the Fatties have suprisingly good top end and enough low end torque to get you going quickly.
