Sandzilla
I recently bought a 99 Banshee and it has a set of pipes on it that I have never seen before, there is a tag welded on the pipes that say chapparell preformance, the silencer's have no markings and they look like the older style fmf. I was just wondering if anyone knows anything about these. to me the pipes look like CPI in frame's but the chambers are cut and welded together. My friend is going to come over this evening and take a pic of them so I can post it I do not like the silencer's and tried to put a set off T5 silencers on them but the T5's are a smaller dia where it hooks to the pipe's. DUNEDEMON
Try calling Chaparral and see what they have to say (800) 841-2960
roosthrower
They could be a set of unstamped cpi's too.
reded
yes, chapparal did have their own line of pipes, but they just farmed the work out to FMF or Procircuit. I'm pretty sure the banshee pipes were exact copies of FMF with the chapparal name plate.
Sandzilla
Thats prolly why the only silencers that I tried that fit were fmf. Thank you for the info.
