sredish Posted October 12, 2004 Report Posted October 12, 2004 Hi I'm looking to get the best looking/working grips, like i need some orange and black ones who carries the best ones? or the most? I like Tag's, but doubt they're gonna have orange, maybe black. Quote
DUNEDEMON Posted October 12, 2004 Report Posted October 12, 2004 Hi I'm looking to get the best looking/working grips, like i need some orange and black ones who carries the best ones? or the most? I like Tag's, but doubt they're gonna have orange, maybe black. Me too, they have 3 different compounds: soft, medium, and hard. I run mediums with gloves they are nice and comfy, they do wear a bit fast though, but for $10 it's not that big a deal. Quote
wantinashee Posted October 12, 2004 Report Posted October 12, 2004 tag does have orange grips but they are for twist throttle. i like scott comp 2's but they only have grey red and blue for thumb throttle. spud Quote
racer Posted October 12, 2004 Report Posted October 12, 2004 I want some DDI billet grips. I hear they arent that bad as long as you are wearing a decent pair of gloves. Quote
mat Posted October 14, 2004 Report Posted October 14, 2004 Don't just look in ATV/Motorcycle stores for grips. Most grips that are sold for Mountain bikes and BMX bikes will also fit ATV bars. I used Haro grips on my last set of handle bars. I would still be running them today, but I bent my bars as the result of a dumbass attack. Quote
Leadfoot350 Posted October 19, 2004 Report Posted October 19, 2004 I like the foam grips. You dont have to wear gloves and they act like a shock absorber. Quote
fixitrod Posted October 20, 2004 Report Posted October 20, 2004 I was having a lot of trouble with grips and water. Banshee370 gave me a pair of pwc grips (fet ski grips) that get tacky when wet. Now I will never buy atv grips again. Quote
BansheeBruce Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 Try Oury ATV grips. They are softer and more comfortable. Might be hard to find though. Quote
tats4life Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 PWC grips are the shit espically if you ride in wet conditions or even damp. When I did race I ran a set of pro grips for a pwc. Tag's are killer but do wear out fast as does oury grips. Quote
ranshee Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 Try Oury ATV grips. They are softer and more comfortable. Might be hard to find though. I'll second that. I love my oury grips. Nice and fat and they fit my hand real well. Quote
04ShEeLE Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 I like spider grips also, pretty comfortable Quote
SANDSTAR Posted November 4, 2004 Report Posted November 4, 2004 Try the bolt on bmx style grips from fly. They cost $10 and last alot longer than renthals. Plus, they bolt on, so you don't have to mess with grip glue. Quote
