XfiveGEE Posted October 9, 2004 Report Share Posted October 9, 2004 Yesterday my friend picked up a brand new YFZ (stock). Today we decided to race each other on the street for the heck of it. Ok .. my Banshee has some mods .. nothing to crazy. FMF Fatty's, V-Force Reeds, Boost Bottle and a Cool Head. My friend weighs around 140lbs, and I weigh around 210. We did a few runs, and everytime he would pass me about 1.5 bike lengths. I'm curious if weight plays a big factor for him to pass by me because it seems like it does. locogato11283 Posted October 9, 2004 Report Share Posted October 9, 2004 the 450 is just way faster. even stock the 450 will take a lot of modded banshees. i dont think its wierd at all. weight prolly has some to do with it, but i bet if you strapped 60 pounds to him i bet it would still beat the banshee. wesw Posted October 10, 2004 Report Share Posted October 10, 2004 i raced some this weekend at waynoka. if i got off the line perfect i could be a few by about half a bike. some were stock others had a pipe. but there were some that had f*ck who knows what, and a honda 450 that sob was fast as shit. it would be my brother in law bike with fully port job. those 450 bikes are pretty amazing goina have to get one next yr Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
