snowprophet1
What kind of rear tires are good for dirt drags? I have some 20" ITP holeshots to try, but don't know if they are good enough to do battle against the other types. They are brand new so they probably aren't too bad, but what does everybody else run for dirt drags? Thanks!
Mod Banshee
I have a set of Razr 2s on my Shee and all it does it spin from 1st to 4th. I think I will try a pair of Black Waters next summer.
fixitrod
A lot of dirt drag racers use the tires shaped like just4snow or the wollyberger type at 2psi. The wollyberger will grip really good then expand like a top fuel dragster. Edited October 6, 2004 by fixitrod
bkabina
Pro wedge 2 Ohtsu radial like a honda factory tire Grooved turf tamers 4 snows I see alot of these around here.I run the turf tamer with every 4th row cut out. With the turf tamers and the chassis set-up I have I can bring the tires off the ground at the starting line and carry them about 5 or 6 inches from the ground the whole way to the finish line.Thats 600ft dirt. It's a bitch if you get sideways though. ledofthezep
Grooved turf tamers Was wondering if anyone was still using them...18's or 20's?
locogato11283
these kenda klaws with every other row cut out of them hook up better than my 4 snows. give them a try.

Southside Motorsports
I have had good luck with the pro-wedge 2's on looser dirt, and on hard dirt i use a radail tire with ice pixx. those are the best two setups on dirt.
