d3xnij Posted October 2, 2004 Report Share Posted October 2, 2004 its a yfz450 yes, but i need some help that i dont normaly get on the central. Heres the deal. Ive just put in the new lighter flywheel and now it dosent start. However when i touch a metal bar across the battery's terminals the starter turns the motor. The starter motor turns but there dosent seem to be a spark. What could the problem be? Also ive no chain on the bike as i just put on a new axle and even when the bikes in neutral the sproket still turns, this normal? Maverick302 Posted October 2, 2004 Report Share Posted October 2, 2004 Can't help ya with the starter problem...ive always used kick/pull starters. But yes, it is normal for the sprocket to turn in neutral...It has no resistance. You could stop it with a finger (but i dont recommend trying it).
