boonman
Well, I am off in a few hours to deliver the Dodge, to it's new owner in Long Island. Today went a little haywire, as I was putting my new exhaust on the truck, (thanks Sredish!!) I "slipped" with the sawzall, and nicked the transmission cooler line. Well, needless to say, a mess ensued.... After searching for a new line, I just used a compression fitting, and spliced 'er back together. Got the new chip in the truck, new exhaust, and new intake. I hope to make some good time in the hot rod Diesel, but we'll see how the NYC traffic goes.... I am a little about getting rid of the Dodge, kind of like geting rid of a shee. But, there will be another one sometime..... Somewhere...... Hopefully all goes well, and if I get back early enough, and the weather is alright, I'm goin ridin'!!!! I haven't been inawhile.... Sorry for the useless story, but I'm just bored...... Have a good weekend peeps.

banshee370
Trailsallday: I would love too.... but as of right now my schedule is fubar. I've also been tossing around the idea of parting out my shee What part of Mass are you from again? Maybe if I can get some projects done we can set something up. Jeepman wants to ride also. boonman
I've also been tossing around the idea of parting out my shee Why??? I don't understand? Anyways, yea, useless stories. I was bored, and needed something to pass the time. Well, I got back this afternoon. I survived the fiasco on Red Bull, coffee, Mountain Dew, and Lunch at Taco Bell. The truck performed flawlessly. Not one problem pulling some steep grades at 90+ MPH with the 10K load. Nothing passed me, when I had the truck loaded, or on the way back. I was in heaven. Except for the damned turbo chatter. Kind of pissed me off. Surge with anything below 1900 RPM and rollin the throttle on. Dude liked the Dodge, and I found out he owns a car dealership in Jersey, and will be re-selling it. Oh well. It's out of my hands. And he got a SMOKIN deal for that truck. Walter, thanks again my man. The Ford is loking better and better every day. And with my newfound wealth, perhaps some tires may be in the future..... I didn't get a chance to go ride today, it was raining when I got home. Maybe tomorrow...... Walt, I wanted to come on up, but the guy that went with me, had prior engagements he had to be back for..... Which got messed up anyways, when we were waiting for the George Washington Bridge traffic, we were stuck there for 3.5 hours. All to go less than 2.5 miles. Fuckn' traffic was ridiculous. ANd them people are plain crazy. I think they were worse than Massachussetts drivers. Or even Jersey drivers.... sredish
Glad to hear you made it man. Yea, people are fucking crazy to be living with any more than 10 people per square mile.
tithead
And with my newfound wealth, perhaps some tires may be in the future..... forget the tires, why dont you buy chitty chitty bang bang and cruise about in that maybe you could even come to jocksland???? ah well, glad you had a safe trip and made it back ok! banshee370
Boonman: I guess I'm just in one of those moods lately... It makes me sick to see it sit there every day... and NOT be able to enjoy it. I'm lucky if I get to ride it twice a year. If I take it out locally its nothing but a hassle... cops, land owners, ect. Every time I have some paint work in the garage I have to push it out so I dont cover it in overspray... And that just makes me want to ride it even more. The way the bike sits right now is perfect for me... I cant think of anything I would want to change or add to it (except some bling-billet) Shawn from K&K already told me that I will just end up building another one.... which is very true... So why sell it at that point Well I'm glad to hear your trip went well.... but I have to ask... WTF were you thinking? GW bridge on a saturday? Are you nuts? Hell. GWB on any day is pure insanity! One thing to remember about Mass, Ct, and NY drivers... If your in your truck...... Your bigger than they are... so drive your truck like its a honda civic and everyone will stay the f out of your way! hehe

The plastic alone is probably worth the value of most plain banshees. i'd hate to see you piece it out, but you gotta do what you gotta do. frocashmoney24
sounds like somebody needs a weekend ride, or maybe a move out west , things can only get better, they have the last 3 times youve rebuilt it, but if everythings the way you want it.... banshee370
Sredish I pushed it out once again today........ If I only had gas in it. I woulda taken it for a spin. And again. Its not that I have to sell it....... Its sat for a little over two years once w/o being started,,,,, I just hate seeing it go to waste. Its nice of you to offer taking care of it for me too! hehe Fro: In just under two months I'll be back out at Dumont (w/o the shee) so I can get a fix (yes I'm an addict) I would give a left nut to move out west.... It's all the wifes fault since she wont move. I cant think of much I would change.... There is always something... but it runs just THAT good now and handles just the way I like........ AHHHHHHHHHH Its no wonder I'm going bald. I gotta stop pulling the hair out of my head!
