That's horrible. All the plans all the dreams now all the memories.

I know when I woke up in the hospital after my last crash with all my family there worring about what was going to happen to me it made me think about how easily it could have been avoided with a helmet. I was lucky. Now it's mandatory if I plan on going more that 2000rpm in 1st or leaving the driveway. It's not worth losing everything because you don't want to wear a helmet.

I used to have a rule about "if I'm not going any faster than 1st gear" until one day the clutch lever slipped out of my hand. It bucked me, not very hard, but it let me know how quickly things can get out of hand. They can get out of hand "Simpsons" quick somedays.

Damn, that's terrible. Sorry to hear that. It makes me cringe when I hear about an atv accident with serious or fatal injuries. I just hate it. Accidents happen, but we have a lot of help preventing injuries at our disposal, like helmets, chest protectors, boots, and there's no need to ride like that without wearing them. I've learned, from experience, that accidents can happen even more when you just hop on just to screw around for a minute or so. That's the worst time, cause you think your just playing and not seriously riding and let your guard down, not put on your helmet or some other dumb shit. I don't know what happened in that particular accident above, I just really hate to hear about it.

i feel sorry for the soon to be wife... it was gonna be the best day of her life... now it will be the worst and haunt her forever.... she will have a hard time wanting to marry anyone now..... cus he made some bad decisions.. and i'm sure the drinking not only played in part with the wreck but with the decidions of not wearing a helmet and riding crazy...
