PUSH THE THROTTLE
what gets me is, i just rebuild it did all the work myself everything was put in perfect, it ran great the carbs are jetted perect and synched, cleaned I have the feeling atleast one of the above statements is untrue. I would guess your carbs are not perfect if you have spark in the cylinders then you should not have oil "pour" out of the pipe if you do I think your running rich. Keep checking things out and post what you know. Good Luck
red ore
Take your time to get it going. In the long run it will be worth it. I know the idea is to get it done RIGHT FREEKIN NOW, but wait it out, buy the stuff you need as you can afford it. Keep coming here for advise and tech questions and everyone will be helpful. ( I hope) I bought my 97 almost 5 years ago. I maintain it (not as much as I should) and make sure everything is kookily koo before I go ride and sometimes after too.....I have never had a mojor failure and it still pumps good compression numbers. Good luck in whatever you decide.......
