bansheewizard Posted September 24, 2004 Report Share Posted September 24, 2004 i just got my clutch and installed it, and i was woundering how and where i need to adjust it at. i raod it down the road and it felt like it was still slippin a little. but not near as bad. The arrow pointed metal thing on the left side of the case where the clutch cable attaches should line up with the line on the case. It's just a molded line in the case. Man, that's kind of hard to understand isn't it... Kinda hard to explain too...but if one looks they will see what you're referring to. If you have a clymers it will help you out. Just make sure you leave about 1/8 to 1/4" play where the cable attaches...you should be able to move it just a bit down there; this will help you to not weld the clutch ball & rod together and will give you better clutch life & performance.
