Dyno Sheet for a single carb setup

Alright peeps, check under your sofa cushions, call all your cousins and put the words out. I am on a quest to find a dyno sheet on a single carbed banshee.

If anyone knows where one is, please lie, cheat and steal to get it. I'm sure there has to be one out there somewhere and I'm sick of the "which is better" and just so we have something to base off of.

Ok, you all know what to do, now go find one!! ;)

What I would really like to see is three dyno runs on exact same motor. One with stock carbs, one with single 35. and one with dual 28's or maybe dual 30's. Motor should be one that is close to what many guys here run. Motor should be limited to pipes, K&N, moderate compression bump for pump premium, and possibly moderate porting and timing mods.

I love my single 35 but I added this at same time as I did other motor work so I don't know how much of the gain to attribute to the carb. And I have since had 2 engine builders ( Patriot Racing and Adrenaline Powersports) claim to me that all the single 35 gives is ease of jetting, no carb sync to worry about, and consistant easy starting and smooth idleing. I can also say that my set up will cruise around with decent low end before the hit and when you are ready hang on cause it's gonna hit hard.

I just got mine strapped on a second ago, I put new rings on her at the same time so i am breaking it in with some thick gas. Letting her cool down before I do another run so I haven't got on it hard yet, but I will report back in a few, feels peppy as hell so far.

Anybody know what to expect running a 38PWK instead of the 35??

No, but it'll be interesting. I have one on my computer as of now. I was going to hit up BansheeJen here sometime and see if I can scan hers, haven't seen it yet. Then, if you wanna email me yours chozen1, I'll put them all up as one big comparison. I just wanted to get the ones I have access to and figure them out so I knew what I was looking at.

Sent. I'm gonna get mine done in the next month as well, maybe sooner.

cool, Im curious if the 38 will rev out a little farther or not, I talked to a guy at trinity about putting a 44mm Lectron on it but he said you can't keep enough gas in the carb to make it work right, but they are toying with the idea of making a larger bowl for a big carb like that....Everyone needs a bigger bowl

stock bore/port, t-5's, milled head, uni-filter

It gets out of the hole like a bat out of hell from what I can tell so far, I need to jet it just right still, and maybe get a DEK needle. I'm liking so far, seems to rev out pretty close to what it did with the stockers. I am impressed on how it fires up with one kick/no gas, idles perfect, and you need alot less clutch to make it fly. I think I will stick to this set-up for a while...I like the "just take it out and ride it" idea behind these carb kits.

Good to hear. I'm sure it will work great and your top end will be smokin.

I took it out yesterday and I am impressed, it takes off like a 450 from the bottom, grabs traction sooner, and likes to pull a taller gear. It seems to run out of gear a little too quick now, I was in 6th and trying to hit 7th for the first 2 hours of riding it. Me Likey!
