Ultimateduner
My Friend recentally bought a Bombardia 650 ( excuse my spelling ) with a pipe. He wants to race when we get to the dunes in 4 weeks. I got a stock banshee with old school fmf top end pipes and kn fillter. Will I win or lose ? The only thing I can think of that might be an advantage is that I weigh 165 pounds and he weighs 265. However if his less-experienced son races ( 140 pounds ) I might be in for it ! I don't want to lose my bragging rights, help!
locogato11283
youll get whooped. i wouldnt race him for 1 million handjobs. DO NOT let him beat you off the line. in every race ever recorded once a ds650 has passed you it will win no matter what. heres what happens. as the ds travels faster and faster it gains speeds nearing mach 3. as soon as the flux capacitor starts to ignite its like a time traveler sending it several seconds into the future right about 10 or so bike lengths in front of you. DO NOT race a ds650.
Ultimateduner
Damn what is the top speed of one of those? I can hit about 83 mph. kenr74
If you lose to a DS650 just sell your bike and buy a Honda because there is no hope for you.

tsuther78
I agree.....if you get him off the line you may have a chance. If you do work to the 650's they are pretty quick. But there are plenty of ways to make the Banshee faster. So if he does beat you, spend a couple hundred.....take him back out there and f*ck him up. locogato11283
Does anyone have a vid of a bombardier 650 racing ? no because they dont make a slow speed camera slow enough to film one.

kenr74
I think you are way to worried about racing this guy. Just go do it and you will see how slow it is. I ride with a guy that has one. It is a decent all around bike but they are heavy and slow. If you have ever seen one up close you will know how big they are. If we are drag racing he can stay close until I hit 4th and then it is all over with.

I'll do my best and if I lose, I'll spend a little money on my banshee and whoop his ass. Edited September 23, 2004 by Ultimateduner
