banshee frames

i shortned my swingarm and now my paddles hit my left nerf bar. but there off of a 250R, so there bigger than regualr shee's(got them for free). i thouhgt mine was bent, but then i measured my dads shee, and his is shorter on the left side too. my friend just told me his is the same way. ours have all been rolled, but is that from us or are they all that way? i measured from the front lower shock bolt-backside to the front of the axle-straight back. mine were like 3/4" difference between sides. has anyone else ever noticed this? or are our frames all twisted from accidents? :whoa:

peace out

Its hard to say where the frame is "supposed" to be. On my frame when its off on a bench somewhere by itself, its all over the place. My buddy bought one brand new in 99 and his right tires were almost lined up, and on the left side, the front stuck out further than the rear by about 2 inches. The rims were all on right... swapping tires didn't matter... its just the way it was.

I think Yamaha might have swapped QC for production.

If you gusset the frame, and beef up where you said, should that fix the frame from bending in some wrecks?

I really want to buy a banshee one day, if I ever sell my Rappy, but if they bend easily I'm not sure. and yeah I get into a fair amount of wrecks. :S
