Are there any ways to make them a bit more longer becuase i would like my gears to be a longer. What can i get to get a better bottom end? bigwill Posted September 19, 2004 Report Share Posted September 19, 2004 change your sprockets-alot depends on your weight and engine modds-try going up on your front-what size are you currently running? racer Posted September 20, 2004 Report Share Posted September 20, 2004 it has 14 teeth i think stock, just check yamaha's website to be sure. for longr gears you can go up one front tooth or down 2-3 on the back. but for bottom end you will need to get lower gear ratio via a smaller front or a larger rear sprocket.
