bick
needs some major help? what would make it run like crap, then throttle cable snaps? it was missing out when running.
racer
must have been one old rusted cable. before you go off tearing into anything get a new cable and see if that doesnt fix the problem cheaply. if it still runs bad then run compression and plug tests first. racer
with a tester. its a gauge with a fitting that screws into the top of the head in the spark plug hole. once its in there hold the throttle open and kick it several times. then see what PSI the gauge reads. if everything is bone stock the reading should be around 120 pounds. if its under 100 i would have a topend put in it as well as if its more than 10% off on one side or the other. racer
hmm, well id look around and see if you cant find one around there, but if not call the shops in OKC. im sure between like 5 dealers and several speed shops someone has a cable in stock. pimpeinkc
you could have some kind of bind in one of the connecting parts, or if it was routed wrong, it could have been smashed not allowing is to move inside the casing. or if you had frayed wires on one of the ends some where that would do it too. it sounds to me like you just need a new cable. watch the routing though
