i still dont understand what you guys think happened to the 747 if it didnt hit the pentagon. no one has given a good explination for what happened to the plane and all its passengers if it didnt hit the pentagon. you dont think a plane, its wings and tail can be blown to pieces, but you do think it can drop out of the sky with hundreds of passengers and never be heard from again?

pleanty of eye witnesses saw the 747 flying low and hitting the pentagon....i dont think because you dont undersand the physics of the wreckage that thats is a good enough reason to ignore the rest of the facts. and by facts i dont mean politics HOLYMAN, i mean facts from the many engineers, physicists, firefighters and cops that were at the scene of the accident.

'i think the plane didnt make big enough holes in the building, and i dont think the fire burned long enough, so it must be a great big gigantic government coverup by the president, hundreds of airline passnegers and employees, dozens of independent scientists, dozens of firefighter, hundreds of witnesses, reporters, and family members of the passengers...' yea...makes a ton of sense. :shootself:

if you believe that, ive got a bridge to sell ya.

I never said they were facts, I said based on the video it wasn't an airplane. All a judge can do is base his judgement on what is presented or what he chooses to acknowledge. I have looked at the "facts" presented in the first video and have not looked at the "facts" in Brooke referance. And here's where the lesson in politics begins. Each person still has the freedom to decide which set of "facts" they choose to believe. N. Korea having nuclear weapons is a concern of everyone but what are you going to do about it? Again if we all agree that these weapons should be removed from their control, it wouldn't matter because even as a collective we mean nothing to those with more authority than us. Even if the entire country decided to protest some presidential action, if the "powers that be" did not choose to accept the protests, they would declare it an illegal coup and squash it. It all depends on whether they choose to throw a bone to the dog. The governments of the world have this in common, they do not tolerate any upheaval that threatens the standing government. They make many promises but always find ways of falling short of those promises and inevitably there is money missing from somewhere and somebody's daughter get's knocked up.

As far as voting goes, I've said it before and I'll say it again, it doesn't matter which trained monkey get's into office, I won't be the one responsible for putting him there.

that video had no facts. it was all smoke and mirrors. it was all based on bad photos and videos.

the facts i presented were from scientists who investigated the actual scene.

so youre choosing to believe a crappy video made by some anti-americans in the UK who have only seen photos and videos of the incident, over the actual scientists who were there that day investigating the scene of the accident?

Holyman, the way I understand what you wrote you just made a great argument as to why voting is important. Meaning that citizens need to elect the officials that reflect their wants, needs, morals and ideologies the best in order to avoid someone in office that does something that is not in the electoral interests of the country.

And how do you know that they are Anti Americans? Did you investigate them yourself or did a scientist you trust tell you it was all smoke and mirrors?

There is no-one running for office that reflects my wants, needs, morals or ideologies and I suspect that if most people were honest with themselves, they would realize that at best any given leader would only hit one or two of those criteria.

And since no-one meets my criteria why would I spoil it for everyone else? I could be the jerk that skews the vote either way. So I'll wait this one out.

good, i feel much better knowing you dont vote.

:flush:

Make sure you let me know who you vote for so if they win I can point out that you are responsible for his inevitable stupidity.

ill let you know right now, proudly, im voting for Bush. no doubt about it. Im proud to have him as a president. Im proud of what he's done for our country, im proud of what hes done to fight terrorism, and im proud of what he stands for. i think he comes from a great family, i think his father is a great man, was a great president, is a talented author, father and husband. i think his mother is a wonderful woman, and was an inspirational first lady. i think laura is an inspiration first lady now, and a wonderful woman. bush is the only man i want in charge at this time in america's history, he is changing the world in a positive way, in a historical way.

god bless this country and god bless our president.

If he were to meet you do you think he would feel the same?

His position (pardon the pun) on gay marriage doesn't bother you?

no, actually for one, im not gay, and two, i dont agree with gay marriage. i think it opens the door for every alternative lifestyle, many of which i dont agree with, for example, if gay marriage is allowed, there is nothing to keep people from marrying multiple people, so joe schmoe in utah can have the six wives hes always wanted, legally. not just that, but even now, with the domestic partnership laws that many states have, including my own, straight unmarried couples are reaping the benefits of married couples, which i dont agree with.

i dont have a problem with gay people, i think they should be able to adopt and have rights that married couples do, but there needs to be a better solution to the issue than what is currently proposed.

And how do you think he would feel about you if he met you?

uhh, im a good hard working individual. i think he'd respect that. but he doesnt need to like me personally to be a good president. i rub a lot of people the wrong way, i dont think that makes them bad individuals. not everyone has to get along, i could care less if the president hates my guts, as long as hes doing his job well and taking care of the country as a whole. it would be selfish and pompus to be concerned with what he thinks of me personally.

why, whats your point?
