tsuther78
Broke the tibia 3 inches above the ankle. Now I have a plate and screws holding the damn thing together. I let my buddy use my nerf bars cause he was going to the dunes. I decided to go ride the trails that weekend. I hit a jump, foot missed the peg, back tire munched it. The rest is history. Here is a link to the pic leg

Bird of Flames
Fractured left femur, needed two 4inch screws drilled in me, about 8months later scar tissue still didnt grow over the heads of the screws so every time I moved my leg, I felt tendons snapping over them. So I got them removed, which doesnt usually happen. I hit a small double crooked and came down on my leg. X-RAY Screws

sksummers
A good friend was ripping down a dirt road hit a dog, flipped and rolled the Banshee. He died at the scene. Not sure a helmet would have helped him as he had massive internal injuries as well as head injuries.
