Cotton eyed Joe
Banshee Accidents, What Body Part Did You Break ? How did it happen ? What could have you done to prevent the accident ? No broken body parts. Plenty of sprains and strains. Knees, ankles, wrists, feet, shoulders, hands, left thumb, neck, ribs, bruised internal organs, bruised chin, black eyes. Flew off a dune. Landed verticle at the bottom. I just clicked 3rd gear. Not clicked 3rd gear, got more familiar with the terrain before going that fast.
PUSH THE THROTTLE
Nothing broken, concussion and ambulance ride. Nose wheelied after driving over a railroad tie then hit parked car fourth gear pinned while checking jetting. First time at area no helmet, moved car 18 inches on frozen ground. On lighter note no bruises. Where a helmet first and foremost, I didn't think I was doing any serious riding but ask the people who got the call from the police if it sounded serious. Secondly know your riding area, give it a once through before unloading the power band.
loganskinner
i broke my elbow... riding 3rd gear at Croom in the trails, front right tire cought a hidden stump, spun me 180 degrees, and i slammed backwards into a medium sized pine tree and my elbow hit it. could have been prevented if i had decided not to go to croom that weekend i guess. long ride back to the camp with one hand. J-Madd
Broken thumb. Cruising slow through a woods trail after having about a 6 pack, wasn't really drunk, and wasn't going fast at all. My front tire caught the bark of a tiny, but strong, tree and yanked the handlebars to the left and stopped me instantly. The left handgrip came toward me and pulled my thumb back. Not Drink and ride.
SandShooter
I broke both lower left leg bones right above ankle. Was racing up Olds hill at Glamis and foot came off foot peg and my foot got stuck in between chain and sprocket. Luckily it was only my shoe that was stuck in the chain, but it pulled my foot around the axle. It was nasty, six months in a cast. This was on my old ATC 250R. Always were a helmet AND boots. nickxc
tore a chunk the size of my fist out of my calf. Im still stiched up right now but healing well. going too fast missed a corner on a dirt road , went off and hit the breaks at the same time hit a dirt pile and flew over the handle bars . shee flipped end over end slamming down on the back of my legs and then flipping over my head to land in the bushes in front of me. lost a hell of a lot of blood and will have a good scar but feel luckey to have not gotten hurt worse ... rode the shee all the way up the main road to the ER with blood flying everywhere. on a good note the shee sustained only some minor scratches no bends, breaks, or cracks... sredish
2 collapsed lungs and 4 broken ribs. Not as bad as it could've been, but I didn't go straight to the hospital. Thankfully, one lung slowly started to reinflate. If that wouldn't have happened, the dr. said I would have suffocated / drowned from lung fluid in about an hour and a half. It took me 3 hours just to get to the first hospital, I was there for an hour and a half then they ambulanced me 2 or so hours away to another hospital before I really ever received any treatment. Thing is, we didn't know I had two collapsed lungs until I got home and made it to a follow-up at my local doc. He could see it in the xrays and talked to the surgeon doc from the hospital and they said there was no reason to tell me because it was done and they didn't want to scare me more. So I was REALLY lucky. Here's a link to the full story. Edited September 14, 2004 by sredish

stu
i fell off my warrior 3 years ago and broke my shoulder and riped a hole in my leg. only minor cuts and briuses from the shee. was sliding round a corner and tried to get the back to step out a little more but it gripped and put me into a ditch, i went over the bars into a field. could have been prevented by riding the shee.... shee always spins instead of gripping!! stu
Shee_Rookie
Broke my right collar bone and received some major brusing on valentines day showing off for the misses 1 and half yrs ago. Could have been prevented by not doing multiple shot of tequlia and thinking I was cool. At least I was wearing my helmet.
