Does anyone have any experience with older Quadracers? Im looking at a 1990 witha 500cc motor in it. Im going to call and get more info. Its got new cut plastics and looks ok for an older quad. its 1400 bucks. I'll post more info as soon as I get it, but does anyone have any input on this?

if it runs good and the frame seems okay, then that should be a pretty good deal. hell, plastic isn't that much, be sure to look beyond the plastic. that quad is 15 years old, look at the frame joints and look over the motor and the cases. if all's good, i'd pay 1,400, well actually, I would for a 250, not a 500, but it's worth that.

check it over really well. parts are still easily found for them so thats no big deal. one common problem they had was blowing the head gasket out. there are 2 fixes for this. one, some guys would leave the top engine mount a little loose allowing some play. two, theres newer style head gaskets that keep from blowing out. quadzillas can run extremely well. there was one at that last 2 hillclimbs that ran great. id say 1400 is well worth it if it all looks good and runs good.
