PUSH THE THROTTLE
I got that front sprocket and put it on yesterday. It's actually a 16 tooth. (which is better for me) I took it out on an old road here and wound it out and it scared the hell outta me I didn't get it wide open because it started to shake a bit. I have no idea how fast I was going but it works good. I really like first gear now and I like it when I wheelie because I have more time before it's time to shift. I can't believe I left that 13 tooth on for this long. It's like a whole new bike! Makes the shee a whole new animal. So much easier to ride. And still a thrill once you really get her going. I can't wheelie very well in first the one in my picture was 4th all throttle, no clutch, some armpull. 3rd doesn't need any armpull. German Shepherd
I ran a 17 tooth just fine and my shee was basically stock. It doesnty take that much longer to top it out. But what shocked me was how much faster you can go in first gear, the first time I was on it. I used my stock chaine and stock rear sproket. It just barely fit. You have to cut a small piece off the inside of your stator cover so the sproket fits. Oh and by the way It is a pain to push the swig arm far front to fit the stock chaine. I paid 20.00 for my sproket amd it was a regular cheap one. For road riding Id definitly get it.
