Carb Adjust

I just had to tear apart the bottom end to replace 5th gear. After I got everything all put back together I went to start it. There was nothing. I have checked the compression and it is all good. I am thinking that somehow the carbs got screwed up during the replacment. I was wondering if anyone knew a good way to set the carb so I can at least start the bike to get it in tune. It is starting to get on my nerves and desert season is coming up. I do not want to take it into the shop to pay a grip of money for them to turn a couple of screws half turns.

What do you mean its not starting? Is it trying to start and then dying? Are you kicking and nothing? Did you put the slides in the correct carbs. What about your TORS. I suggest you just disconnect the connection as well as the parking brake. New plugs. Are you getting spark? Need some more info.

Well there is spark, I am only getting 100psi. Which I found out is not enough. Come to find out there is a leak in the bottom end. It is not wanting to start at all. I am just gonna say f*ck it and take it to the shop. I am not gonna tear it apart again. I tried to do the vacuum test and I cant even get it to hold for a second.

A leak that huge shouldn't be too difficult to locate, keep trying man, the shop is going to rob you blind...
