Blue_SS
anybody have the 420 powervalve from trinity with the tt porting? im a flat track racer and was looking into this motor?
broke
The motor itself is great and proven. I would see if I could by virgin jugs from them and have somebody else port it. Trinity does not have a great track record and I do have a friend who has been dealing with them on that very set up for a long time now and still doesn't have a running motor. cjm02ram
I have seen some K&T 535's run that are stretched out for full bklown drag and they were fast, but I seen Darens old 400 Cheetah and I think it would have been close with the 400, now he has the 535 from TRINITY and it would eat the K&T's alive
sredish
When you guys say it flies/rips, where is the added power, more low and mid or mostly top? I'm interested in a 420 kit, but I'm wanting to boost torque.
BansheeBrian
Got a bud who has the 400 and it seems to erupt off the line when you hit the gas. I'm gonna race him and find out how tough the motor really is.
cjm02ram
Bansheebrian do you have your stroked jetted dead on? I would like to know how you do against a 400cheetah. If you are evn close to him I will be impressed. I know my jetting is off but I dont think I would stand a chance against the 400cheetah I have seen
Daren
Chris, thanks for the compliments. Hopefully I'll be able to get to St. Joe this weekend. If not, I'm screwed for two more weeks. . .in a wedding the 18th. Unless I could go Sunday the 19th?? I'll let you know. Later, Daren
cdw
I run flat track with my passion and before I had my motor built Jim told me with his motor it will take a 535 cheetah, stroked to beat it. In my opinion you should waste that 400.
