4.88 Damm those 33 feel like little tires than :)

I have the 92 MFI system works great.

Yeah the 8.8 is a great Swap I also plan some 31's to go with my 2.5 inch springs. I am alot like you Don't like the body lifts and only what is need for clearing the tire with a Shackles.

I'm gonna want 35's down the road and when I was doing my shit, I didn't think I'd like the 4.56's with 35's so I went ahead with 4.88s. I got my shackles and stuff from Mountain Off Road ) MORE, they have other stuff and they're great to deal with.

www.4wd.com (4 wheel drive hard ware) Best part store there is for jeeps. Its also 5 mi from my house.

I remember a guy who had his 2.5 totally done up. it was made to a 3.0 and was super charged. Had over 250Hp. But I dont believe they make the supercharger for the 2.5 anymore. Probably easyer to swap the engine but it was cool. In the show room at 4WD they got a yj with a corvet engine in it. its pimp.

sredish-is that the stock suspention artichulating(sp) like that?

 uuuuuh.... No. 4" of complete suspension (shocks, 3.5" springs, .5" shackles). I had to get .5" shackles because std. length shackles will rub on the military wrap springs, and they're close with the .5" length. I hate lifted Jeeps with big long ass shackles, and it's so unsafe, and I also don't like body lifts for my personal preference. I hated to have to use .5", I'd rather have that in the spring, but oh well.

Only thing that's stock on the suspension is the tie rod, drag link and front sway-bar. Got a new "telescoping" trac bar that works really well. I pulled the rear trac bar and rear sway bar (don't even know why they have them  ), rides better without them. Also, the tires are 33".

why havent you done a spring-over conversion. i think those are worth 3-4". then you could have 35's but that may cause axle problems, as well as the need for gears.

those suck. i broke some

yea, stock axles suck, but with 33's and a 2.5, I don't really have that problem. I could run 35's now, but they'd be a little close, but some trimming and new flares and they'd work. I wanted to get rid of the stock suspension so I went that route. I'll do a spring-over later. With 3.5" springs and then a spring-over, I'll be where I want, just one step at a time. I have no need for that much right now.

Had a Grand Cherokee for a while, was mint...got hit on a backroad in Wichita, rolled & totalled it 2 months after I got it. banghead

Damn, Led. Sorry to hear, I'd love for the wifey to get one, but she says "they're too small".

One day I WILL GET an old Waggoneer with the wood looking sides in good condition. I'll lift it some and put some 33's on it and then go pimpin around. My dad had one when I was younger and I remember how awesome it was, and you don't see them too much nowadays.

Carefull using too big of a lift spring with a SOA it will lose some of its flex. Which is a main reason for a SOA unless you just want big tires. Hell with stock springs I think a SOA is 5".

As for the axles with my setup I blew up the carrier, spiders, and axle. At one time. But I was in 2wd. Then put it in 4 started to drive home after a mile the dam axle slid out while I was goin 25mph. Be carefull  4 banger got some punch

Here take a Look at her, she is a beautiful 2.5L Header ,look at how thick the mounting plate and flange are.

is it wrong to get a woody over a piece or stainless steel.

I here you can blow up a D35 with 33's easy. Sredish becareful on the icey road.

the sudden grab of a dry spot can snap them drysticks of an axle.
