roosthrower
I have found that ported stock displacement banshees tend to loose some power before they get on the pipe after a port job. I guess it is due to the slowed down intake charge that generally is associated with larger ports and the fact that you loose some of your effective power stroke when the exhaust port is raised. How do the plugs look? Have you done a wide open plug chop? Do a plug chop before you do anymore riding on it. Basically you almost have to change you style of riding. What I am trying to say is, ride it the way it's supposed to be ridden and you wont have a bogging problem cause you never the the revs below the pipe. What I do though when I'm putting around though in the low revs is I try to not crack the throttle wide open. I find that it pulls harder with a limited amount of air/fuel mixture getting to the motor than when I just let it suck down all it can. Roll on the throttle slower or just grab a handful of clutch with the throttle wide open when your below the pipe. Hope this helps.
NugShee
What size Pilot Jet are you running? Are you saying that 360 mains runs good on the top end right now or is that what you had in there before the resent work?
