banshee370
I read elsewhere on the net this morning that Indian Larry was in a bike accident and was thought to be dead... When he is actually in a coma.... Here is what I know I called my customer today (Larry's painter) and asked him how Larry was doing. From what I was told Larry was on his bike doing another stunt as usual. They think that Larry wasnt drinking enough fluids as he should have. While standing on the bike, the bike slowed and bobbled twice. (Paul Cox was riding right beside Larry as usual) Larry hit the ground/pavement head first or the side of his head. The emergency medical team rushed him to the local hospital. According to my customer,,,, Larry may have lost his balance due to heat exhaustion or dehydration. From what I was told when Paul and Larry's wife went to get him at the hospital,, Larry was coherent and awake during the trip to the hospital. He was very upset that he crashed and couldnt understand how or why it happened. Larry's wife and Paul waited a long time at the hospital and couldnt understand what was taking so long. When the Dr came out they had told them that Larry was now in a coma and that they were going to have to operate to on a blood vessel to his brain. If I get anymore info I will try to post it here.... As for Larry..... He is one hell of an individual.. And my familys thoughts and prayers are out to him and his family. Cotton eyed Joe
They could have induced a coma just to help with the trauma. Its been done to a few family members. Hope he gets well.

Meat
They could have induced a coma just to help with the trauma. Thats the first thing I thought..... induced coma. The crash sounds bad, but its good that he was coherent and talking on the way to the hospital. They'll patch em. I seen him on the discovery channel biker buildoff, he seems like a real charcter. Rat fink bike if I remember.
blk02banshee
I hope he's ok, and I hope he does'nt beat himself up over it...it's just one of those things that happen. It's a risk we as riders take everytime we hop on our bike or quad.

It's the first I've heard about it...geeez, he had himself on a goof roll though, just think about all the years he's been doing this stuff without any catastrophic injury; hats off to the man , I wish him the best in recovering.
