racer Posted August 26, 2004 Report Share Posted August 26, 2004 when you get a new set of wiseco piston it has a pair of wondows that face the intake side of the motor. but when looking through the jugs and into this window it is smaller than the intake port on the jug itself. so my question is can you safely remove a portion of the aluminum in this area so that the two are perfectly matched in size. if you could im positive it would help air flow by increasing size and reducing drag. of course you have to have both pistons matched but thats not a big issue, just take a few measurements. so what do you guys think?
