ledofthezep Posted August 25, 2004 Report Share Posted August 25, 2004 I used damn near 1/4" steel on mine. It didn't add much weight with all I cut off, but it's definately not going anywhere... Here's some pics of where I did mine...sorry for the HUGE pics,...but they're good in detail & you can see the sparkly in my new paint... Extra bar in the front on the lower part of the frame...see just behind the lower front a-arm mounts... Gas tank bar supports Back of the frame...3 different places.
