crbanshee Posted August 24, 2004 Report Posted August 24, 2004 i have been burning just regular pump gas at a mix of 32 to 1 but i just bought some of the 114 octain racing fuel and ran it 30 to 1 and the bike seems to have been running cooler ans a bit stronger...is it safe to keep running this combo in a still stock banshee?? rebelbanshee2 Posted August 24, 2004 Report Posted August 24, 2004 if you still have stock compression you are just wasting money...all you need is pump gas Quote

racer Posted August 25, 2004 Report Posted August 25, 2004 i just run what i find. seriously, well with some oil. 91 or 93, doesnt matter to this motor. Quote
SICK BOY Posted August 30, 2004 Report Posted August 30, 2004 It's true if you run race gas and your motor doen't need it your just wasting money.I run Citgo leaded 110 mixed 50:1 with Motul factory line 800 oil. Quote
theeechozen1 Posted August 30, 2004 Report Posted August 30, 2004 I always try and run the lowest octane possible without detonation, some of the old school guys I know will run a smaller head gasket with low octane fuel, that shit is volitile, if you get the right combo your shit will rip. Quote
gurny Posted August 31, 2004 Report Posted August 31, 2004 I run amzoil 50:1 and 93 octane @170 psi in each cylinder. Runs great. Your waisting your money. With the money you save you could use it on mods for your shee. Quote
