They may look the same as 4-snows............but the wedge 2's are a different animal. They have a stiffer paddle and they hook! I have ran both and for a lower horsepower machine the 4-snows will work well. But if you have 70+hp you need wedge 2's. The 4-snows are like the pro wedge 501's. And if you have lots of power you can run pro wedge 1's......but they have problems too.

What he said...and yeah, I run them all the time. The 4snows are

a little more baloony (is that a word?)...they expand about 40% at top

speed which is like having another gear that you don't even have to reach

for. The wedges expand also, but not as much as the 4snows. That is the advantage of the 4snows. However, the prowedge2's hook a little better and are heavier duty so they will last a little longer and handle rougher terrain. If I were going to ride some really rocky trails though, I'd throw on my razor2's.

Oh yeah, not sure about the 4snows, but everyone runs the wedges in

the opposite direction of what is indicated on the tire. Look at the pic of

mine and imagine the difference if the tire direction were reversed...thats

how they indicate to run them, but they hook even better in the opposite

direction like I have mine.

everything you said ive heard from about everyone ive talked to. i called precision today and they didnt have any pro wedges but they did have some 4 snows so i ordered a set of them. i need them by friday for the hillclimbs this weekend and they said no problem. later on ill prolly try some pro wedges but the ballooning of the 4 snows actually will work good on the hills. im hoping to not have to shift. im hoping i get goin fast enough to balloon them suckers and have it help me on top. im already running 16/41 gearing on hillclimbs, so im guessin itll put me close to 17/41 when im nailing it :headbang:
