DMC 2 into 1 = great low, great mid, no top FMF Fatties = decent low, great mid, good top so decide on where your riding is at, and where you need the power and go from there. BansheeKid265
What kind of riding do you do? Woods, dunes, hill shooting, or drag? In the dunes top-end is a must, although i don't know what you mean by 2 into 1 pipes. Unless your talking about Toomey's 2 into 1 spark arestor thing. I have FMF Fatty's on my bike and they run great. The low end isn't the best, but once you hit the power band you better hold on.
crbanshee
i do 99% dune riding...but im lookin for a bit more low end...and by 2 into 1 i mean 2 pipes into one silancer.. check out www.dmconline.com to see the pipes im talkin about Edited August 24, 2004 by crbanshee
sredish
i do 99% dune riding...but im lookin for a bit more low end...and by 2 into 1 i mean 2 pipes into one silancer.. check out www.dmconline.com to see the pipes im talkin about i know all about those pipes, and they are not the right pipes for you if you do 50% dune riding. If it's 90% dune riding, they're definitely not for you. Go with the fatties, and as I'm sure you know, fmf doesn't make a 2 into 1. The fatties will get you plenty of the low your looking for and be one helluva duner also.
lokar
Two into one sounds like a pissed off bumble bee. I love my fatty fmf's, but if you are really worried about low end, i have heard a lot of good about the fmf gnarly pipes. (except you lose top end)
BansheeKid265
My uncle has Ballturners (sp?) and his bike kicks ass in the lowend department but he lost a lot of top end. He's a big guy though (he's 6' 8" and around 220) so in the dunes its nice to have some low end to get out of the holes.
Gargamel
I have the gnarley's and from stock pipes there is alot of gain on top end. I ride alot of trails and sand pit hill climbs and love these pipes. Next spring we are taking a trip to the dunes and I'll test them on sand. sredish
Ballturners (sp?) Paul Turners, the mids anyways, are great midrange pipes but they do fall a little short on the top end. I'm telling you, the Fatties will get you some good low end, with great mid and really good top end. The Gnarlies are going to fall short as well in the top end compared to the Fatties. If you dune, that's going to be important. BTW, thanks for the "Ballturners"!
Toomey Banshee
I suggest Toomey T-5's or CPI's for the type of riding you will be doing. You cant go wrong with CPI's in my opinion. Great on a stock bike, mind bending on a ported machine.
tree shooter
if you do 90% dunes, go with toomeys or cpis. fmfs would be ok, but god there silencers are ugly.
bansheefreak
my dmc are great will run anybike with same mods and will take them top or bottm....i have power from when i hit the gas to when i left off... they just don't have a light switch powerband like toomeys cus toomeys bog then hit.. i hit from the get go... wanna race...truth is there is not many ppl oput there that have actually ran dmc pipes so how can the judge them ??? from seeing a stocker run them???? well anyways my bike runs kick ass with dmc and most guys that have actaully ran them liked them unless they went to full on drag them they got cpi's.. just my 2 cents for whats its worth

Wallrat
Hey I'm 6' 200 lbs too and I've found that with my FMF's, low end is only a concern if you let off the gas.
Wassup350
My suggestion is the FMF sst's, toomey T6, or paul turner high revs. They are all good all around pipes, from what i understand.
