Wassup350
I'd get 2 into 1 intake and pipes, a wider axle and a-arms, shorter swingarm, smaller tires (preferably turf tamers or holeshot mx depending on how loose the dirt is i think the holeshots would be better for looser dirt,) better shocks, and gear it down a little. Also get a good clutch lever, i have the MSR ez pull shorty lever and it helps a whole lot around corners being able to get the rpms out. Also invest in a cable luber so you can keep your cable from getting shit in it and making it harder to pull. Theres tons of shit you can do for mx if you have the money. MotulMonsta
You must be pretty good if your running pro on a stock machine. I assume your running 2 stroke pro open class. Your good unless the other riders suck..or maybe there was only 6 entries in the race..or only 6 in your class and the line was filled with bikes from other classes. The best advise I can give you is don't worry too much about your motor. A set of V-force reeds and good pipes will give you plenty of power. Your best bet would be to upgrade your chassis. They make long travel suspension kits for the banshee now..wishe they made em' when I was building mine up...It should only cost you about 3-4 grand to dump a long trave +3 front end with 21in custom axis shocks with compression and rebound adjusters and a -1 roundhouse style swingarm with another custom axis shock in the rear. The shocks alone will run you over 2100 bones. But they are the best money can buy. Then go out and get a steering damper. You'll thank me later. Don't forget a nice extended axle in the rear to match the width of the front and your tires should be mounted on a set of carbon fiber wheels from hipertech with a 3-1 offset in the front to keep it within the 50 in AMA legal limit. tats4life
hipertech with a 3-1 offset in the front to keep it within the 50 in AMA legal limit. please show me this in the rule book.............my lobo bike with 4+1 offset was 53 1/4 inches wide...........mx don't matter...................flat track and tt you have to be under 50 inches..........................please show me. There were 10 in the class but I would say that class was more like a B class but for one rider he was a A class. As for my self I would have to say Iam not to bad for a old guy hehehe. freddy
