00BlueShee
I was riding today and this is what happened. The ball inside the clutch got melted to the push rod, unless its suppose to look like this. Is the push rod suppose to slide out with the ball? Is there any possible way I could fix this without takeing the case apart? thanks
FadedDreams
I'm almost positive that it just slides out and can be replaced. It happens because you held the clutch in while going down a hill.I think theres a better part you can buy so it doesn't happen anymore, but i'm sure others can explain better. fixitrod
You might be able to break it free with a punch and a hammer then get it out of there. Mine has never done that so I'm not sure. It should fall right out though with a magnet pulling on it. It happens to a lot of people. Good luck. Let eveyone know how you got it out. I may have to look this thread up way day to fix mine. 00BlueShee
I got the ball out by shooting it with a special gun that is used to shoot nails into cement walls . I then was able to pull the ball out with a magnet. The rod that was behind it also was stuck, I went to where the push lever opening is ( On top of the case) and I grinded the end of it down with a dremel (thanks runsstrong for the idea.) Then I was able to pull it out with a magnet. Hope this helps if this happens to any body ealse on hear.
