. Posted August 15, 2004 Report Share Posted August 15, 2004 Run a higher tooth sprocket, run a gear higher, and jet a little lean. If you jet a little lean the only time its really gonna hurt you is if your hard on the throttle for an extended period of time. Back off pinning it a lot and you'll save gas. You gotta have the HP to be able to pull the higher gearing, run a trans gear higher, but it'll save gas, and every time you get a chance, downhill etc all that.....save gas save gas save gas.
